PJ never mastered any tricks but she wrote the book on love and loyalty. Thanks to PJ for seven great years.
Patty went to the Rainbow Bridge today to join her sweet mom and dad. I will never forget her. She was one of my first RHS fosters, adopted in December 2002. Rest in peace, sweet girl. (Written by her foster, Martha Denton.)
A sweet but scruffy senior boy came into our program in 2008(?) who had lost his older gentleman to this place called heaven. He really loved people, especially men, He and food, ANY food. He was more then happy to sit up pretty for any treat, although his foster family perhaps enjoyed that too much…
Koko Haynes crossed the Bridge on Monday. He wasn't doing well and getting worse he lost balance sometimes when walking. This was so hard after having him almost 14 years; he was a great pet. Will miss him a lot.

Hi Martha, it is with heavy heart that I write this email. Tony passed away in his sleep last night at 17 years old. While we don't know what most of his life was like, we do know he had the most wonderful last 4 years of his life, thanks to the work you and…
Bentley Larson has crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 13. His dad, Ron, said that Bentley was the smartest dog ever, and the best thing in his life. Ron and his wife split several years ago, but Ron was lucky enough to keep Bentley. Ron had cancer but knowing Bentley was waiting for…
Zoey's puppy, Sam, passed away earlier this afternoon from a congenital heart defect. He had an appointment with a specialist coming up but it was just too late and his little heart gave out. We've lost Sam and his brother, Eric, in the last couple of months. Not fair for little puppies to be so sick.
Our sweet sweet Elwood went back to his Creator today, stylin' in his blue hoodie. I know that his first Mommy, Pat Chadsey, our other doggies, Bella, Happy, JuJu and Tigger were all waiting for him on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. We thank God for bringing him into our lives and blessing…
Sadly, little Eric lost his short battle with megaesophagus today. He was a sweet, cuddly little angel and a fighter. We tried our best, and so did Eric.
Thank you to The Vet House, especially Dr. Swann, Nell, and Dustin for your hope and compassion, and to Bob Wykes for his strength and support.
I knew this day would come. Ripley was my baby for 15 years and 3 months, but this day still came too soon. Ripley has passed, and left a giant hole in our hearts.
How can I explain Ripley's place in my heart? He was the dog I didn't want. He was the first dog Kevin…
