Two kittens from the same litter were adopted together this weekend: Alder Brooke + Posie Brooke!
In January, Victoria W. noticed a friendly street cat who had been coming to her house for food was pregnant. With freezing weather fast approaching, the cat came into the program as Poppy Cat, fostered by Brooke B and not a minute too soon: the day after she arrived in her new foster home, she gave birth, and DFW was hit with an ice storm! Poppy Cat gave birth to four adorable little ones: Alder Brooke, Lilac Brooke, Posie Brooke and Willow Brooke. Once the kittens were weaned, they went to a different foster, Holli B., where they received much love from their family of four + many other cats and a dog.
Last weekend, Alder Brooke + Posie Brooke went to their forever home with Brandon and Mya who are over the moon in love with their new family members. Ex-military, Brandon has been going through a transitional time returning to civilian life and wanted two kittens, preferably siblings, to make his days brighter. We were thrilled when he reported that the pair of kittens, now known as Boji + Nova, are doing wonderfully in their apartment home.
