Vega and her foster mom Gladys Fung have waited a long time for the right family to come along! Gladys fostered Vega’s mom, Piper Joy, and her puppies starting in May 2014. The puppies and Piper Joy were adopted in 2014, but Vega remained, waiting patiently and happily with her foster mom. Late in December 2016, Dana Huffman told us about a family who wanted to meet Vega when they returned from vacation in January. The home visit went great, and Gladys prepared to say “so long for now” to the sweet and beautiful dog she had nurtured and trained for almost 3 years. Coincidentally, Vega’s new name will be Piper! 🙂 Thanks, Gladys, for a great job as always!
