KitKat (aka Penny) was adopted on August 26. Her new mom’s name is Kit and clearly they had to come up with something else, so she is now known as Zeppelin. KitKat was rescued from the Collin County Shelter where she was on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding and her own poor health. Bridget stepped up to foster her, nicknaming her Penny due to her copper-colored fur. Bridget worked hard to get KitKat healthy, housetrained and ready to go, and once she got to that point, it didn’t take long at all for Kit to find KitKat and realize they were meant to be together.
