Kelly Adoption

Kelly Adoption

Pretty little Kelly was adopted today by a single guy looking for a companion for himself and his kitty, Mia. Her new dad has already sent an update; looks like Kelly won the couch and left poor Mia with just the ottoman! 🙂 He plans to call her Keke, which was the nickname given to her by her fosters, Randy and Nancy Thomas.

Found as a stray in Rowlett, Kelly/Keke suffered from some serious health issues including a tumor which required surgery, but she was in great hands with her very experienced foster parents and recovered fully. Within a few weeks of surgery, she was back up chasing her beloved tennis balls and playing with her stuffed Gumby. Gumby, of course, went to her new home with her, along with a bag full of brand new GREEN PLAID tennis balls and lots of other toys and treats from Nancy and Randy.

Thanks for another wonderful foster job, Nancy and Randy. We know it was hard to let her go. Happy life, Keke!
